Trekking under the ‘Trois Mamelles’


At the heart of the Yemen property, this large 4500 hectares hunting reserve situated in the west of Mauritius, get ready for a thrilling itinerary…

You’ll make your way through a tunnel which goes deep down into the mountain, you’ll discover pristine forests inhabited by stunning multi-centenary trees, you’ll skirt the side of the Rempart Mountain and dominate African savannas in the reserve…

In another valley you will navigate the Rivière Papaye and go across a canyon which meanders about 200 metres, bordered with walls nearly 60 metres high. This crossing will wind you through the safari park, where you will meet African antelopes, zebras, deer etc …

Trekking sur "Mamzel Zabet"


In part of the hunting reserve of Yemen located in the west of Mauritius, an amazing trekking adventure is waiting for you…

On the top of Mamzel Zabet, this little mountain also nicknamed “la dame allongée” (the sleeping lady), you will discover Rivière Rempart and its remote and unfrequented river beds, by going through endemic and indigenous forests. All along your journey, you will be in touch with a spectacular fauna and flora.

Lunch will be served around a peaceful river bed where you’ll enjoy an exclusive Tyrolean traverse across the river and end straight into the water!
