About Us

Since 1985 Club Mistral is known for its high-quality windsurfing centres all over the world. Club Mistral has now about 18 Windsurf Centres and 14 Kite Centers named Skyriders...

Philosophy
With a colourful mix of personalities from diverse nationalities and cultures, we want to give water sports enthusiasts an opportunity to experience their leisure time in new ways every time.

Club Mistral / Skyriders in Mauritius
In Mauritius, the Club Mistral / Skyriders centre is located at the Indian Resort on the most famous spot of Le Morne where a variety of different conditions offer maximum fun from beginners to experts. This particuliarity of the spot enables us to offer Windsurf and Kitesurf courses and lessons of all levels; from beginners to expert. Our Club Mistral / Skyriders in Le Morne also offers rental of windsurfing, kitesurfing and surfing equipment and gear.

On days with no wind we offer Surfing lessons and Supervision. If you like the ocean you are in the right place here. With us you get guaranteed full water contact and best fun ever...

The Spot
Kitesurfing beginners can start in the kite-lagoon with shallow water and enough space to learn safely and comfortably while Windsurfers and advanced Kitesurfers can start directly in front of our centre.
Here they find a nice, sandy lagoon for learning the latest moves.
The waves are offering perfect learning conditions for all levels from wave-novice to absolute experts.
The wind is blowing 300 days a year mostly side-shore from the left.

Safety
Safety being our most important feature, there are always two boats available in case a rescue is needed.
Our Licensed instructors (VDWS / IKO) speak several languages (English, French, German, Italian, Russian) and our great experience guarantees the best safety during your vacation in our Club.

Equipment
We have the latest equipment from Mistral, North Sails and North Kiteboarding in our centre which we renew every year. All our guests and clients are provided with helmets, wetsuits, shoes and harnesses during their stay with us (free of charge for Voucher guests).

Before flying to Mauritius, please make sure you have pre-booked your rentals and lessons with us as we may not have immediate availability.
