The Site Le Domaine exists since 1988. Indeed part of the valley of Le Domaine d'Anse Jonchée used to be known as Le Domaine du Chasseur for about 20 years. In August 2006, Mr Boulle acquired le Domaine du chasseur and Domaine Ylang-ylang with some of its surrounding land. In February 2007, the overall property became Le Domaine d'Anse Jonchée. This new name goes along with a new management team, a new workforce and a new spirit. You will stay in a 400 hectares property, surrounded by Mauritian fauna and flora.

Our privileged partnership with the Mauritian Wildlife Foundation (MWF – specialized in preservating endemics species), allowed us to guarantee visibility of endemics species of Mauritius island such as the Kestrel (small falcon), golden bats and many other small birds (pic-pic, boule-boule, foudias, etc...). Also, you will see Java deer, « tangues », wild boars and other animals in liberty on our preserved land or in our park/barnyard or simply from the terrasse of our “Ti-Vilaz” lodges.

We axed our activity in the eco-tourism field in which we aim to be a reference. To settle our positioning, we are proposing only eco-friendly activities, a “Simply Mauritius” experience in a unique and breathtaking environment which can also be enjoyed from our restaurant "Le Panoramour."
