This package consists of a 6-night stay on full board, including 6 excursions, transport to and return trips.

Details as below:

DAY 1
Morning: hiking or horse riding within the domain.
Duration : 1 to 2 hours 
Lunch: A warm meal served at the kiosk near the swimming pool.
Afternoon: Visit of the Chamarel waterfall and the 7-coloured Earths in a 4 x 4.

DAY 2
Climbing of the Morne Brabant
Duration 3h. Min.2 pers Max 12 pers
Description of the excursion: Climbing a mythical mountain with a breathtaking panorama over the West and South coasts of the island. This mountain was once deemed inaccessible refuge for runaway slaves, and is the unique habitat of the “Trochetia Boutoniana” the emblematic plant of the island.
A good physical condition is recommended.
On the way back a picnic basket, served in the chalets or at the kiosk at “La Vieille Cheminée.”

DAY 3
Mountain biking day and picnic at the beach in the south.
Duration: A whole day
Description of the excursion: ride along tarred road, accessible to everyone, along the beach at the south coast to “Baie Du Cap” for a picnic and bathing on the beach !

DAY 4
Climbing of “Piton de la Rivière Noire;” Mauritius's highest peak.
Duration : 3h to 4h
Description of the excursion: Hiking along a narrow track in the native forest; discovery of the Piton and  back down another road to the village of Chamarel.
On the way back picnic basket, served in the chalets or at kiosk at “La Vieille Cheminée.”

DAY 5
Hiking in the Black River Gorges.
Duration : 2h à 3h Min 2 pers. Max 12 pers
Description of the excursion: Superb walk in the 6700-Ha National Park. This once native forest is home to deer, monkeys, wild boars and more than nine endemic bird species. Beautiful views of waterfalls and river scenery. Sandwich break in the woods.
Excursion moderately easy.

DAY 6
Walking or Biking day
Duration: A whole Day
Departure at “Flic-en-Flac” and walk along the beach to the Tamarin Bay (1h30 Approx.) for a picnic and bathing on the beach!
DETAILS:
• The excursions are reserved for the residents at “La Vieille Cheminée.”
• These excursions will be conducted according to your endurance or sportive level.
• Bookings are made at least one week in advance et and will not be refunded in case of cancellation, unless terminated by us.

HORSE RIDING:
The wearing of an equestrian helmet is compulsory. Helmets and boots are provided free-of-charge.

DRESS CODE
Horse-riding: horse-riding pants / outerwear / comfortable trousers, sunscreen and anti mosquito cream.
Hiking: Shorts or trousers – sunscreen and cap.
MTB: We have helmets at your disposal short or trousers, caps and sunscreen.
