There are some 30 dive sites, all within 20 minutes boat rides from Sun Diver bases; the most appreciated ones are: Cathedrale : One of the best dive of the island. It is a very wide cave that shelters lobsters, giant puffer fishes and visited by some big pelagics. Its maximum depth is 30 meters and you reach 17 meters at the end of the dive, going through holes and chimneys. It will leave you in awe. Tug II Between 17 and 19 meters, Tug is a small boat and one on the best dive of the west coast. The concentration of fish per square meter is one of the highest around Mauritius. On the wreck you can find different type of scorpionfish and even the 2 different rare fishes, the Rhinopias. Around on the sand, you can see garden eels.
